The task was to get into groups and film ourselves singing a song (chosen from a list) so that we can then lip-sync it to the actual voice from the song. We had to delete our singing to then hear the voice who actually sings the song to make it look like we are singing.
I learnt that the main key to lip-syncing is the timing. I also learnt that it is a lot easier to lip-sync with a medium close then far away, as when we all sang I found it very hard to get the timing of it correct. Another thing that I learnt was that more then two people in the frame was hard to lip-sync, as if one person is out then it is difficult to find which one to sync. I also learnt that the editing needs to be a lot more smoother, and trying to take it in one edit will be a lot easier. I have also learnt how to 'Unlink' our voices to the clip and them import the original song. The other thing that I learnt was how to transform it into a FLV which can then be uploaded onto YouTube. I also found it easier to sing when playing the music from an IPod or computer so that you can keep in time with the song.
